George Anson - A Voyage to the South Seas - 1744
Extremely rare "Officer of the Squadron" 1744 copy this famous voyage. There were two unauthorised accounts of the voyage published in 1744 and this is the scarce "Officer of the Squadron" version. This copy unusually has all 5 plates although two have suffered partial loss and have been complemented by facsimile copies (which can be removed if desired) .
