George Bush (3) Typed Letters Signed

Three TLSs signed “George,” “George B.,” or “George Bush” as either Vice President or as Chairman of the Republican National Committee, each one page, ranging in size from 6.25 x 4.25 to 7 x 10. The earliest letter, March 5, 1974, thanks F. Peavey Heffelfinger for his “thoughtfulness in sending along the clippings about the Minnesota fund-raising dinner.” The second, April 28, 1981, forwards a photo with his thanks; and the third, November 5, 1985, thanks “Allan” for sending an article from the York County Coast Star, adding in a postscript: “Your 10/22 note with Bimsi and Bamsi just arrived. Many thanks. I’ll keep the books in Maine for the grandchildren.” In overall fine condition.
