George Hurrell (1932-1944) Limited Edition Hand Signed & Numbered 10-Piece Portfolio of Classic Hollywood Photographs W/COA - This is a magnificent, limited edition suite of (10) iconic silver gelatin photographs by the famed, preeminent photographer of Hollywood's halcyon days, George Hurrell. The portfolio includes ten images, each in separate acetate sleeves, each numbered and hand-signed in fountain pen by Hurrell. The set includes a certificate of authenticity which states in part, "The 10 gelatin silver prints were made from original negatives created by George Hurrell. Each piece has been hand developed, dodged, and burned by or under the personal direction of George Hurrell. This edition was published at the facilities of Producers Photographic Laboratory in Hollywood, California." The particular suite was produced in an edition of 250 printed on 16" x 20" paper, and includes photographs of the following Hollywood stars: Ann Sheridan (1939), Joan Crawford (1932), Anna May Wong (1938), John Barrymore (1933), James Cagney (1944), Veronica Lake (1941), Gene Tierney (1944), Charles Boyer (1942), Jascha Heifetz (1937), and Gilbert Roland (1939).
