Footnote: The engraved arms are those of the family of Fermor of Easton Neston in the County of Northamptonshire.
Condition Report: Fully marked to side of body. Part marked to inside of lid. Body marks quite rubbed. General marks, scratches, rubbing, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Timber of handle dry. Softening to decorative detail. Coat of arms likely later added. Per purchase receipt, coat of arms possibly that of Routh, Co. York.
