George III Carved & Figured Mahogany Card Table

Circa 1790, Britain. Having a hinged flip top which is highly figured and triple top. This form is quite rare and uncommon. The top opens to extend outward and make a larger table. The lower case having a single drawer above nicely shaped freeze and is flanked by square legs with carved corners. H30" W34" D16 3/4" Sold from the collection of a private Charleston, South Carolina family South of Broad.
