A George III elm armchair, late 18th century, with shaped crest rail, pierced backsplat and out-shaped arms with scroll terminals and straight legs joined by a stretcher.
Dimensions:Height 36 1/4in; width 29in; depth of seat 17 1/4in; seat height 18in.

Condition Report: Structurally sound. The frame with an overall bleached/faded Surface. The arms are slightly loose with several repairs, reinforcements and filling-in. The pierced splay with a small break and repair. The upholstery with a small stain.
