George III Linen Press

A late 18th century English George III Period linen press. Mahogany construction with oval figured Mahogony door panels and Kingwood banding, features a lift off molded cornice above a two door upper section with five interior linen slides, on a base with two short over three long dovetailed drawers with original Brass hardware elevated on bold bracket feet. Old polished finish with minor wear, some shrinkage to door panels and lower right end. 47 x 22 x 77" high overall. ESTIMATE $2,000-4,000
