English George III sterling silver coffee pot with domed hinged lid having pineapple finial over a pear shaped body, both with Rococo floral and scroll repousse decoration, and a carved wooden double-c-scroll handle. Hallmarked for London, 1772-1773, maker's mark attributed to John King. Engraved on one side with crest of a goat or long-horned sheep, and on the other with an armorial coat of arms. 9 3/4" H (25 cm). 28.19 troy ounces.
