in the Chippendale taste, the rectilinear cushion upholstered in a needlepoint cover with a velvet apron, raised on anthemion- and bellflower-carved cabriole legs with ball-and-claw feet.

Condition Report: In overall very good condition. The legs are tightly affixed to the frame. The frame joints are all tight and secure. Sturdy. The seat upholstery exhibits some wear, but no rips or tears. The needlepoint cover shows very slight discoloration/light areas in the ground. Probably of second half 20th-century manufacture.
