The entire piece is complemented by a shaped apron and stands on splayed bracket feet. Incorporating 19th century and later elements. Measures approximately 30 3/4" x 27 1/2" x 19 1/4". The hardware has been replaced and there are old restorations. This item originates from the estate of John A. Williams, a distinguished philanthropist and renowned collector. Mr. Williams and his partner Dewitt Hart were influential members of San Francisco's art society and were celebrated for their discerning taste in modern, ethnographic, and fine art. Over the years, they hosted numerous exhibitions in their home, showcasing their prestigious collection to appreciative audiences.
