There is some wear to the engraved detail on the top and bottom of the box. Vacant cartouche. The box closes crisply. Inside the gilt is bright. The grille is intact. All hinges are good. Hallmarks are clear. On close inspection with a 10x loupe there appears to be a crack visible on the outside and the inside in the centre back of the base. No further damages found.
