A 19thc century English majolica double nut dish by George Jones, Stoke on Trent, 19th century. Large double sided nut dish centered with a detailed squirrel. Front and rear small dish receptacles. Strong color and finely detailed. The underside with the molded maker's cipher and the English Registry mark. Measures 13.75" wide, 9" deep, 5.5" high to top of squirrel.CONDITION: small chip to underside rim and small chip near the Registry mark, see photos.
