Cabinet features two sliding doors concealing two storage compartments and an adjustable shelf. The back panel refinished with book-matched Claro walnut slabs joined by three butterflies by Gerald Everett, former foreman at the Nakashima Studio. Signed and dated to underside 'Restored: Feb. 2005 Gerald Everett New Hope, PA'. Sold with a digital copy of the original order card.

Provenance: Acquired directly from the artist in 1958 by Daniel Greenfield, Philadelphia, PA | Important Private California Coast Collection

Condition Report: Excellent restored condition. Minimal wear consistent with well-maintained use, including faint scuffs, scratches and a few indentations. Several perforations have been made to the bottom panel at left and vertical dividers for electrical wiring and/or aeration.
