A George V silver cup and cover by Omar Ramsden, the ogee shape body with bead collar below and raised upon a spread pedestal foot with stepped edge and paterae motifs, the detachable, domed cover having pierced foliate border and finial of entwined leaves inset with a central agate cabochon. Hallmarked London 1931, engraved inside foot 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT'. Height to finial 26cm, gross weight 27.69ozt (861.5g).
Engraved inscription below rim reads 'I WAS WROUGHT FOR M. AND Mme. de FLEURIAU BY COMMAND OF SIR PERCY AND LADY GREENAWAY, THE LORD MAYOR AND LADY MAYORESS APRIL, 26 1933'
