George W. Bush 9/11 Typescripts w/ Bin Laden Mugshot and Iconic Speech! Two Tragic & Defining Events of 9/11. BAS Slabbed!
Slabbed signature
Set of BAS Encapsulated souvenir typescripts, printed to resemble two of the tragic and defining events of September 11, 2001. The first being an FBI "Most Wanted" Poster for Usama Bin Laden (Deceased Version) and the second featuring President George W. Bush's National Address on the evening of the 9/11 attacks. Bush has signed blank pages both in a bold black marker, to which later the text and images were added. In fine condition, glare is shown from scans and is not present on the pieces. The slab of the Bin Laden FBI most wanted poster has a slight scratch only visible on verso. Both have been authenticated and encapsulated by BAS and measure 6" x 9".
President George W. Bush's leadership following the September 11 attacks became one of the defining aspects of his presidency. His televised address on the night of 9/11, quoted in full here, helped rally a shocked nation and laid the groundwork for the subsequent War on Terror. Usama Bin Laden, identified as the mastermind behind the attacks, topped the FBI's Most Wanted list for nearly a decade until his death in 2011. These two items, juxtaposed, represent both the moment of national crisis and the long pursuit of justice.
This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
