George Washington medal was produced by the U.S. Mint in 1903 to complete the series of round Presidential medals with classic Peace and Friendship on verso. Provenance for this medal ~ purchased in the 1960's from Native American Tribal Members in Oklahoma. The medal measures 76mm, weighs 223 grams and has been tested for silver using x-ray analysis.
