Pal, alternatively titled Bouteille de Bass et verre sur une table, 1911, impression from the 1954 edition of 30 plus proofs, published by Maeght Editeur, Paris (Vallier, 9). Signed "G Braque" in pencil l.r., inscribed ".H.C." in pencil l.l., identified on a label from the Thomas Segal Gallery, Boston, affixed to the backing. Etching on paper, plate size 18 x 13 in. (45.7 x 33.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Gentle toning and rippling to sheet, several pale fox marks, not examined out of frame.

Out of the frame the sheet is an unwatermarked wove paper with deckled edges and measuring 22 3/8 x 17 3/8 in. There is mat burn to the margins and toning to the margins outside of this. There are minor handling creases to the left margin and the corner l.r. It is hinged to the facing mat near the upper corners. There are stray pencil marks and possibly fingerprints to the verso.
