Nature morte II, 1912, impression from the 1953 edition of 50 plus proofs, published by Maeght Editeur, Paris (Vallier, 10). Signed "G Braque" in pencil l.r., numbered "1/6 HC" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from the Thomas Segal Gallery, Boston, affixed to the backing. Etching on paper, plate size 12 7/8 x 17 3/4 in. (32.8 x 45.1 cm), framed.
Condition: Gentle toning to sheet, not examined out of frame.

Out of the frame the sheet has an Arches watermark. It has deckled edges and measures 19 3/4 x 25 5/8 in. There is mat burn to the margins and light-staining within this. There are crimps to some deckles. There is a soft horizontal crease to the lower margin near the left corner about 1/2 in above the edge that fades out about one-third of the way across the sheet. Both lower corners have minor creases and crimps. There is possible soiling and/or rubbing to the right margin near the lower corner. On the verso the work is titled and annotated in pencil. There are hinge to the upper corners, but they are not affixed to the mat.
