modelled as a crouching female dancer wearing a detachable headdress holding an alabaster urn in both hands, on a square tapering variegated onyx plinth, stamped with foundry mark L.N Paris J.L for Les Neveux de J Lehmann,Made in France and numbered 454, engraved signature Duvernet to top of plinth

height 49cm.

Condition: Cover for urn absent. Most jewels absent from headdress only three present. Old feint hairlines to ivory to back of midriff section soles of feet, Small chip to underside of one corner of plinth.
