Claude Monet, Constantin Guys and Edgar Degas. Correspondence and manuscripts of Georges Grappe concerning their works.

Georges Grappe was an art historian, appointed curator of the Rodin museum in July 1926.
In 1939, he participated in the evacuation of works from the Rodin museum, which reopened in July 1940.
Between December 1940 and March 1941, he organized the “Centenaire Monet-Rodin” exhibition at the Musée de l’Orangerie, several documents of which are in this lot.
