Condition Report:
The canvas is original and was not relined. The canvas is slightly loose. The paint impastos present a light layer of dust. Upon close inspection, several cracks are visible in the black impasto, with an associated uplift in the upper black impastos and a small loss of paint in the horizontal black impasto on the right. Further close inspection reveals a few underlying marks in the lower left quadrant. Ultra violet light inspection reveals historic inpaintings in the black impasto.
