Georges Van der Straeten (1856-1928) , large and wonderfully made bust of a young girl on a marble pedestal. A rare three-piece ensemble of a bust and two accompanying vases. The sculpture is signed on the rear and also provided with the caster’s mark ‘Societe des bronzes de Paris’. The bust dimensions are 70 x 34 x 24 cm. It weighs 24. 5 kilograms.
