Belgium, ca. 1900. Beautiful bronze sculpture by the famous sculptor George van der Straeten (1856 - 1928) Depicting a bust of a young lady wearing a headpiece in the style of Napoleon. The sculpture has a beautiful patina and stands on a high red marble base. Furthermore, the sculpture is fitted with a foundry stamp - 'Societe des Bronzes de Paris' and the signature of the maker is on the sculpture. Dimensions: Height: 23 cm Width approx. 13 cm.
