Georgian Conch Shell Inlaid Decanter Case

British, 18th/early 19th century, rectangular case with shell inlay, hinged lid opening to divided paper lined interior housing six gilt decorated clear glass decanters, case 8-1/4 x 10 x 7-3/4 in., each decanter approximately 7-1/2 x 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 in.

Condition Report: surface dirt and accretion, case with scattered bumps, cracks and small chips along base panel, losses to interior liner; glass decanters with losses to gilding, scattered air bubbles, pontil scars; one stopper stuck in bottle neck (possibly with adhesive)
