Georgian gold seed pearl mourning brooch

A late Georgian gold, blue glass and seed pearl mourning brooch, with woven hair and monogram reverse.

Length 1.7cms. 7.3gms.

Condition Report:
Scratches and shallow dents. Varied general discolourations.
Slight soft solder visible to edge on front of the piece.
Area of file scratches to reverse near clasp.
Reverse with woven hair and gold monogram apparently reading JCM.
Base metal pin.
Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
Few seed pearls are loose behind the glass.
