Folio (318 x 210mm.), engraved title with woodcut arms on verso, engraved portrait of the author, numerous hand-coloured woodcut illustrations (see condition), later maroon morocco, title repaired with loss, preliminaries, first leaf of main text, 4Q2–3, and last 5 leaves washed, pressed, remargined at foot and supplied from another copy (the illustrations on these leaves uncoloured), minor staining, a few tears and repairs, some extending into the text, some with minor loss
