A beautiful old painting, THE HAGUE SCHOOL, clearly signed and dated at the bottom right. Gerbrand Frederik van Schagen, was born on 7th March, 1880 in the Hague. Student of the Academy in the Hague. He was taught by the painter W. B. Tholen. Van Schagen worked along the lines of the Hague School. The painting is in very good condition with a small old repair, not visible at the front, see the pictures.
