German Bauhaus Teak Wood & Rattan Chairs & Coffee Table, Ca. 1920, H 29" W 24" Depth 26" 5 pcs | of Bauhaus design with arts and crafts construction, ebonized accents, and modern geometric lines. the chairs measure H 29" X W 24" X D 26". the table measures H 22" X W 26" X D 24.25". the chairs offer impressive basket woven caned rattan backing and seating, with modern fitted cushions. No maker's marks or branding were observed. with a partial newspaper clipping affixed to underside of the table. Circa 1920. Provenance: Property of a Detroit, MI private collector.

Condition Report: When viewed under natural light, nicks and faint scratches were observed throughout the table and four chairs. The caning shows wear from age and use. Evidence of water damage to the feet of the chairs and tables.
