Obverse: a standing dragon facing left supporting the arms of Worms; reverse: a crowned double-headed Imperial Eagle with the abbreviated Latin legend, here spelled out: SUB UMBRA ALARUM TUARUM PROTOGE NOS (Protect us under the shadow of your wings). The date, 1618 is at the top left. The strike is well-executed on a flan of good metal without cracks or flaws. An early and very scarce city-issue goldgulden worthy of inclusion in an advanced cabinet.
