German WWI Butcher Bayonet

Fuller grooved butcher style blade displays localized graying and surface oxidation, stamped with Solingen maker WKC on ricasso. Wood grip scales show field wear and minor bruising, secured by two pins with early high eared crossguard showing numeric stamps and Weimar validation mark. Accompanying steel scabbard shows dark patina and minor oxidation, stamped by Oberndorf Mauser factory. Full length 20.5 inches, blade length 14.5 inches.
