Imperial German WWI-period Feuerwehr officer's belt constructed of heavy black leather with a large brass buckle. The circular buckle features a crowned shield bearing the Hanoverian horse emblem, surrounded by a decorative laurel wreath border. Antique condition with age-related wear, cracking, surface loss and dryness to the leather, along with patina, oxidation and wear to the brass buckle consistent with age and use.
