German WWII Book "Hermann Goering: Reden und Aufsaetze" with Ink Signature

A hardbound volume titled "Hermann Goering, Reden und Aufsaetze" ("Speeches and Essays"), edited by Dr. Erich Gritzbach and published in 1940 by Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachf., Muenchen, as stated on the title page. The blue cloth cover bears the title in gilt Fraktur lettering within a decorative border, with the spine displaying a series of small stamped emblems including an eagle motif. The title page carries the publisher's imprint and date, while the facing leaf bears an ink signature in green in a flowing hand.

The book compiles a collection of speeches and writings attributed to Hermann Goering, published through the official Nazi Party press during the period of his prominence as a Reich leader within the National Socialist government.

Hermann Goering served as a founding figure of the NSDAP, commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe, president of the Reichstag, and holder of numerous economic and political posts within the Third Reich, making him one of the regime's most powerful officials until his fall from favour in 1945. This volume, compiled by his associate Erich Gritzbach and issued by the party's central publishing house, Franz Eher Nachfolger, formed part of the propaganda apparatus that promoted Goering's public image through collected speeches and writings during the height of his influence in the late 1930s. Such editions were produced in large numbers to disseminate Nazi ideology and cultivate the personality cults surrounding senior party leaders.
