Three piece constructed medal body displays a blackened core with light surface oxidation, flanked by a ribbed, frosted silvered border showing mild tarnish and edge wear. Obverse core features a central emblem and the date 1939 reverse displays the foundational date 1813. Suspension ring is secure, holding a short length of tricolor red, white and black ribbed ribbon with minor fraying.
