German WWII Iron Cross Medal with Austrian Ribbon Mount

Die struck three piece construction medal exhibits a crisp iron core retaining its factory black finish and a nicely patinated silver frame showing light edge wear. Reverse features the foundation date 1813 on the lower arm, while the obverse displays the 1939 reinstitution date. Suspension loop is securely attached to a clean, traditionally folded triangular red, white and black tricolor ribbon.
