German WWII K98 Bayonet

Single edged blade featuring a deep fuller, blued finish showing honest battlefield wear and ricasso marked 5429q and maker code 42 asw - Horster. The hilt is solid with weathered wood grip scales secured by two screws, a functioning locking button and an uncleaned patina. Steel scabbard is maker marked E. u. F. Horster 1940 and numbered 6761y. Full length 15 inches, blade length 10 inches.
