German WWII Luftwaffe NCO Side Cap with Embroidered INSIGNIA

Cloth side cap constructed of dark grey wool with an olive drab cotton lining showing typical light wear. Body features a hand stitched eagle insignia and a national cockade to the front seam, both displaying mild thread fraying and discoloration. Interior is clean but entirely devoid of any manufacturer stamps, unit markings or size codes. A sound, uncleaned example with light age toning throughout.
