Germanic Gold and Garnet Pendant
5th-7th century AD. A circular gold pendant with central polished garnet and recessed band around, the outer band set with triangular polished garnets having slightly domed and proud upper surfaces set in cells with wire walls to show an eight-pointed star pattern; an attached strip loop with incised lines at outer edges.
