Germany - 16th century - Short Sword

Beautiful sword dating from the 16th century. The master's mark hammered into the blade, unfortunately, I'm unable to identify this. The hilt of this sword is equipped with shell-shaped handguard side brackets that are counter curved as are common for short swords and rapiers. This type comes from Southern Germany (I believe) The handle is made of metal, bound with wire, and is closed off by an oval pommel. The sword measures 70 cm in length the blade is 55cm. the sword is in excellent condition for its age there are no loose parts everything stands firm. of course, there are age-related marks and stains, for exact details please see pictures.
