Very nicely preserved, worn chamber piece of a heavy Bavarian cavalry sword. Solid, openwork iron hilt with a raised Baeyer coat of arms with the lion. Solid rubber grip with two rivets. All parts of the vessel have acceptance marks. Overall with nice patina and signs of wear. Solid, bare backed blade with scarf. Blade with occasional signs of wear and jagged. The overall structure of the blade is smooth and shiny, with minimal age spots. The year of acceptance 1892 on the back of the blade, as well as stamped on the underside of the blade and the manufacturer visible. Solid iron scabbard with two rigid ring attachments and an eyelet. Original paintwork partially with signs of wear, underside also with slight dents and signs of wear. Overall, a truly well-preserved, authentic piece. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
