Germany - MG34 - Light Machine Gun - Centerfire - Machine Gun - 7.92×57mm cal

[ translate ]

Very rare mg34t, panzer mg34, used in the Panther or Tiger tank, among others. The armoured refrigerated jacket had to ensure that enemy fire did not damage the mg34, and so it could continue firing. The mg34(t) is a very rare version of the standard mg34, of which a lot less have been produced. The weapon was mounted in a tank or vehicle without its stock. The design is made so that no bipod can be used. For this purpose, a special clamp was designed that was loose in the vehicle, together with the stock. If the vehicle was switched off, the mg34 could be removed, the stock and clamp with bipod were mounted and the mg34 could be used as an infantry weapon. Unfortunately for the common soldier, the mg34(t) was a number of kilos heavier due to the panzer mantle. This mg34 was produced by bruno arms in 1945, but stamped with Waffenampts. The clamp for the bipod is an original clamp, the bipod is also marked with the correct stamps. 80% matching numbers! this is because the stock was always loose in the vehicle, so it was often swapped.
