First edition of the Rabbi Yehudah Loew, the MaHaral of Prague’s second book.
Complete copy, including the 3 rare leaves.

Commentary on the Passover Haggadah. This commentary was reprinted numerous times over the years.
This unique edition, is the only one to be printed by the MaHaral himself, during his lifetime. It was only published, however, posthumously.

The 3 final leaves at the back of the book, comprise a summary of the laws of Pesach and the prohibition of Yayim Nesech. It includes reprimands for those who use this forbidden wine for Kiddush and the Four Cups on Passover.
These 3 leaves are exceedingly rare, and do not appear in all copies.

Rabbi Yehudah Loew, The MaHaral of Prague, (circa1512-1609) was an illustrious sage and Torah scholar. His novel, deep approach in his elucidations of Chazal’s Aggadot impacted generations until today.
The MaHaral’s original approach is apparent in his famed compositions. His teachings had a great impact on the Chassidut movement which was established 150 years following the MaHaral’s passing. The MaHaral’s writings are recognized as fundamental in Torah and faith. His book, Netivot Olam is a window into comprehending character traits. The creation of the Golem of Prague, a miraculous and mystical legend, was attributed to the MaHaral.
