\Artist: Giambattista Tiepolo ( 1696 – 1770) After
Technique: Oil on canvas\Signature: Not signed\Dimensions: 62_2_30. 5_cm
Measurements: 30. 5 x 62 cm Without frame Oil on canvas depicting "Institution of the holy rosary, Italian artist of the early nineteenth century, by Giambattista Tiepolo. Coming from a private collection. It is in a fairly conservative state, in patina. First canvas and coeval frame. Small restorations emerge at the Wood lamp. Upon verification with solvents, it was found to be authentic in all its parts. The painting is made using a classic iconographic model by Tiepolo present in the church of Santa Maria del Rosario (Gesuati) , however the spontaneity of realization, associated with a remarkable skill in drawing, makes this work very interesting, moreover it is made in the first part from the 19th century, that is, not many years after the death of the master Tiepolo (1770) ; this element, associated with the others, could lead us to think that the author of this painting may have had direct contact with Tiepolo himself and this makes it particularly interesting. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and lawful origin from our gallery with photos as required by law. Insured and tracked shipping.
