SPAGHETTI CHAIR - 101 (1979) . Signed by Giandomenico Belotti (1922- 2004) for Alias, the company that he together with Enrico Baleri and Carlo Forcolini founded in Bergamo in 1979. It remains a symbol in the history of design and is the first of the Alias chairs to enter the collection of the Mo. MA in New York and which is part of the permanent collection at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. Made of painted steel tubing and coating in the rare black neoprene edition, held in tension by steel springs This rare seat, complete with matching stool, was in the Belluno branch of the Cassa Di Risparmio 'Verona, Vicenza, Belluno and Ancona', in excellent condition, with only small signs of use. Chair measurements: Total height 85 cm; Seat height 46 cm; Width 40 cm; Depth 47 cm. Stool measurements: Height 46 cm; Width: 45 cm; Depth: 46 cm.
