In the year that celebrates the centenary of the birth of the doctor Antonio Basaglia, to whom we owe the abolition of mental asylums, it is nice to propose these two images taken inside psychiatric institutions by Gianni Berengo Gardin, who fought that battle against institutions with his extraordinary mean: photography.
