Gibson Les Paul 1998 EXOTIC SMARTWOOD The Gibson Les Paul 1998 Exotic Smartwood, is a guitar with a rich history. Gibson has released the Smartwood series in collaboration with Forest Stewardship Counsil (FSC) and the Rainforest Alliance. The Smartwood is made of environmentally friendly, certified wood. The bodywork is mahogany, just like the neck. The neckline has a comfortable 1959 rounded profile and is finished with the pearloid dots. The elements on it are Gibson's classic 490R/498T. The 490R has an Alnico II magnet that provides a warm vintage sound. The 498T has an Alnico V magnet that creates a crunchy rock sound. This historical guitar has only suffered some traces of use in the last 22 years. The hardware has been checked and everything is in perfect condition. The lot can also be picked up if you wish.
