Six very beautiful French antique Art Deco oyster plates.
Soft green and cream colored faience,
glazed Faience ceramic / Barbotine.
These glorious plates were hand crafted and hand painted.
Attribution to the Faïencerie Gien
Circa 1920 - 1950
The plates are beautifully detailed in high relief,
with beautiful green background in relief in wickerwork motif, as it were a basket.
Then the shape of cream-colored shells in which the oysters can be placed.
Each plate has 6 compartments for 6 oysters and a dimple in the middle
where to place the lemon.
Beautiful !
Looks great on a party table, chic dinner or just as decoration.
Diameter approx. 24 cm
Height maximum approx. 3 cm
Total weight approx. 4155 grams
All six in beautiful, excellent condition, minimal use and signs of age.
