Gilt Bronze Champleve Mirror, Henry-Normant 1870
A Large French Champleve Enamel and Gilt Bronze Figural Dressing Mirror, c. 1870, attributed to Henry-Normant Paris, active 1851-1878, stamped HN on the underside of a foot, with an oval beveled mirror, surmounted by a figure of Pandora with a diadem and her box , with arabesque enameling, bronze tendrils and a pair of finely cast birds. NOTE: The firm of Henry-Normant active in Paris 1851 to 1878 when reorganized as E. Henry.

Condition Report: enameling fine, mirror with a few spots of desilvering, the Pandora figure securely attached, but slightly loose; bronze with original surfaces, but slightly dusty, a few small screws missing from the back plate of the mirror, minor casting flaws visible underneath legs, no repairs noted
