Gino Sauerbier (1969) was educated at the Rotterdam art academy in the early 1990s. After a number of years of in the graphics direction, he switched to advertising. After some experiments in advertising, Gino decided to focus entirely on painting. Sauerbier's paintings show how he would most like to see the world. Full of joy, colours, magic and the unexpected. Unfortunately, Western reality is often the opposite. That is why he is inspired by distant peoples and primitive tribes. His work contains many references to nature. Especially the world of fish intrigues him. This work is from a private collection. Any damage and unevenness visible in the photos are part of the description.
