Beautiful copy in the Bracon-Duplessis edition on heavy laid paper with watermark, with wide margins (total size 66 x 51 cm) , in very good condition, only a small damp spot on the upper right corner and upper left corner with traces of folding, both along the edges outside the printing area (see photo) .
Monogram "BD sc. " on the bottom left, "Piranesi F. " on the right.
It is part of a limited and numbered edition from 1961, taken from the 1761 original of Piranesi's masterpiece, with engravings made by Bracons Duplessis with the original process used by Piranesi and in the presses of Georges Leblanc. The special watermarked paper was produced on looms from Moulin Richard de Bas.
