Sheet 9 from the series: Vedute di Roma. Brilliant, strong and clear early impression with burr effect. Before the name on the base of the statues and before the price indication, which Piranesi added in later impressions. Wide margins. – With the characteristic vertical centrefold. Slightly darkened in the mat opening and faintly stained in the margin, unobtrusive handling marks in the margin, otherwise in good condition. Rarely this early!
